Ontario Recreation Department

The Ontario Recreation Department strives to provide programs for the community by offering Family Swim nights, annual Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Recreation Camp, swimming lessons, contests, Haunted Trail, Touch a Truck, and an annual Craft Show, etc.

Marshall Park

Park settings are vital to a community and Marshall Park offers space to get outside and enjoy nature, walk or run with friends to stay fit, pavilions for gatherings, intramural sports, and other community gatherings like Concerts in the Park. Marshall Park has become a center for youth soccer, baseball, and softball games and tournaments. We now have four new turf ball fields for use year round.

We have tennis courts, a basketball court and two playground areas. We offer pavilion rentals for your reunion or family gatherings. Details about our Marshall Park Pavilion Rentals are online at: https://campscui.active.com/orgs/CityofOntarioFacilityRentals?orglink=camps-registration

Splash Park

We have a new splash park for children to enjoy. It is located near one of the playground areas. It will be open starting in May until September, depending upon the weather.

Ontario Youth Sports

We have a great youth sports program for all ages up to Middle School. We offer football, soccer, baseball, softball, cheer, etc. For more information check out the OYS website or email them at info@oysports.com.

The city has a movie theater, several stores for your shopping enjoyment, and several wonderful hotels and restaurants.
