The Ontario Recreation Department strives to provide programs for the community by offering Family Swim nights, Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Recreation Program, swimming lessons, lifeguarding classes, etc.

Park settings are vital to a community and Marshall Park offers space to get outside and enjoy nature, walk or run with friends to stay fit, pavilions for gatherings, intermural sports, and other community gatherings like Concerts in the Park, a chance to relax and listen to free music in a family-friendly community environment.
Marshall Park has become a center for youth soccer, baseball, and football games and tournaments as well as offering picnic facilities and the children’s playground. Details about Marshall Park Pavilion Rental is available by calling 419-529-3818.
The local school system offers high school level football, baseball, soccer, tennis, track, swim, and basketball programs to name a few, in addition to the many extra-curricular activities such as concert band, vocal groups, plays, and musicals. The Ontario School system campus sits adjacent to the park for a hub of recreation and activity.
Ontario Youth Sports
Many neighboring recreation and attractions are also within a short distance from Ontario and include the world-class motorsports at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Mohican Farm State Park, two winter sports resorts (Snow Trails & Clear Fork), high-caliber golf courses, and B&O bike trail that connects multiple communities like Ontario. Currently the city has two movie theaters, and an outdoor drive-in theater.
