Do you have an Ontario High School student (or an 8th grade student that is 14 years old by June 1st, 2020) interested in working during our summer recreation camp this summer? We hire high school students to work with elementary school students during a two week summer camp. We offer classes that encompass everything from art and science fun, to basketball and outdoor games. If your high school student likes working with younger kids and enjoys sports, art, dance, reading, or science, have them apply today!

Summer Rec. will be the weeks of June 8th to 11th and June 15th to 18th, 2020 from 8:30 am to noon.

Mandatory interviews for all new applicants will be on April 2nd from 3 to 6 pm in the Middle School Library. These are open interviews. The student must come any time that night during the hours stated for an interview. If the student cannot make an interview, they must contact the Recreation Dept. prior to the interview dates. Interviews are required in order to work for the summer rec camp.

The City of Ontario annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at Marshall Park, Saturday, April 4th, 2020 at NOON at the Playscape area (please arrive by 11:45 am to line up!)

Open to children in 4th grade and under. There are five areas for kids to hunt for eggs based on their age: 3 and under, Preschool, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade, and 3rd and 4th grade. The Easter Bunny and Miss Ontario will be there!! This event is Rain or Shine!! Please bring a container for your eggs!
